He is survived by loving wife, Reet of 51 years; daughter, Rena (Dale) Scott, son, Tim (Rhonda) Herder; grandchildren: Taija, Reece, Riley, Sarah, Brayden and Kayley; as well as many dear siblings and friends.
He was predeceased by siblings June, Doug and Jackie.
He was a police officer for 35 plus years. He will be dearly missed by all.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on, Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 11:00 am at Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Road, Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Donald may be made to the Salvation Army.
