It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and matriarch of our family, Doris Leona Brown on March 18, 2017, born November 5, 1922 in Kenora, Ontario, and predeceased by her husbands, Leif Bartnes and John (Chuck) Brown, and siblings, Mildred, Cliff, Len, Larry & Joyce. Surrounded in love by her children, Warren Bartnes (Dorothy), Darlene (Bob) Ormrod, Richard (Debbie) Brown, Shelly (Colin) Campbell, and Wayne (Ellen) Brown. Also survived by grandchildren, Eric, Ann (Rob), Todd (Bill), Tracy (Jim), Nicole; great grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Bennett, Carter & Griffin.
We are indebted to the medical staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital, the staff at Baillie House (Webster Corner) and R.J. Kent Retirement Residence for their kind and compassionate care.
No service by request. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
