She is survived by her sweetie Charlie; children, Michael (Jeanny) Crown, Jason (Clara) Crown; stepson, Alex Ferrara; 9 grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends, especially friends, John (Mariette) Foxcroft and Jean (Larry) Doran.
Laura had a green thumb and loved gardening. She also loved sending photos to relatives and friends in Ontario teasing them whenever they had 4 feet of snow.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. The family request that guests wear Hawaiian themed attire.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
