Elizabeth Mary Martyniuk

Betty Dunlop was born in Powell River, BC. She met her future husband Bill Martyniuk in Nechako, BC in 1951, he won her heart and after marrying they lived in Kitimat, BC with their first two children. With the arrival of their next child they moved to the lower mainland and settled in Richmond, BC where they raised their six children.

Betty was a stay at home mom until her children were grown venturing back to the work force as a Real Estate agent. Betty enjoyed her retirement in Abbotsford where she made many friends.

Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends but remembered with an abundance of love and cherished memories. Betty left an extrodonairy imprint worthy of her life. Betty is survived by her children: Brent & Leanne, Jill & David, Brad & Barb, Craig & Donna, Jeanie & Paul, Joni & Mike and her grandchildren who were always “good as gold” Kalen, Mcartney, Breanne, Connor, Jacob, Danielle, Ty, Reed, Zoe and Mia. Betty is also survived by her sister Jean, her brother Jim, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Bill, her brother Alec, brother-in-law Norm and niece Gail.
