Dad grew up in Horyn, Manitoba and eventually moved to Winnipeg where he met our mother, Anne. They were married for 64 years -until his passing. The family moved to Abbotsford, B.C. in 1989, and have resided there since. He continued to work until his retirement in 2010.
Dad was an active member of the Knights of Columbus since the mid-80’s and could regularly be seen flipping pancakes at the K of C pancake breakfasts, flipping burgers at events such as Agri Fair, or selling raffle tickets for their fundraisers. He was immensely proud to be a 3rd Degree Knight and enjoyed every minute that he spent with his fellow Knights.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Menno Home for the care and support they provided to our dad for the past 4 years.
