Freddy (Fred) Cornelius Hoffer was an amazing Son, Father and Opa. He will be dearly missed by his entire family. Quick and sudden death hurts us all, but was surrounded by family in the hospital.

He was predeceased by his parents and his two brothers Peter and Louie, niece Angela and brother In law Terry.

Fred was born to parents Cornelius and Vera Hoffer, on September 14th 1958 in Pentiction B.C. Fred graduated from Abby Senior and received a boilermaker degree from BCIT. 

He soon after married Vicki and had 4 beautiful children, Codei,  Evan, Chris and Jessica. Fred had three grandchildren which he adored and loved completely.

Fred enjoyed fishing, quading ,4x4ing, his corvette and spending time with his family and beloved animals Beaumont and Mr. Pig. 

Forever in our hearts and forever missed.

Our condolences to the Family,

First memories of Fred bring me back to the days of Sun Valley Crescent through my sister Brenda, Johnny and Gloria.  
We became a little later in years 4 x4 buddies, Rob & Linda, Mark & Maria, Fred & Vicky, me and Nance, having fun up at Sandy Hill.
Fred and his jeep and winch came to the rescue many of times, safety always first, pulling us out and having fun doing it .  Then Fred and I got quads.  Fred loved his quad, would bring his over and we would
spend the whole day making new trails.    
Moved away and as life goes, lost touch 
but thanks Fred for the memories!

Our deepest condolences to the family of my dear friend. I’ve known Freddy for eons and his older brother Peter since I’ve been a member of the Boilermakers. I’ve had numerous encounters with the brothers  with the jobs we all go to. Most recently when attending the 359 pensioner’s banquet and Freddy and his wife letting us join their table for dinner. We will miss him tremendously.
