Herbert "Herb" Reeve

Herb passed away on February 13, 2018 in Abbotsford, B.C. He was predeceased by Patricia, his wife of 44 years, and his daughter Janet, but will be forever missed by Katie, his second wife of 25 years, his daughters Shirley (Gordon) and Barbara, his son Lyle, his grandchildren Jason, Coralynn (Derek), Todd (Gillian), Janine (Trevor) and Alyson (Derek), his great grandchildren Carter, Hunter, Ema, Eli, Avery, Lena and Curtis and the many friends he has left behind.

Herb grew up on a farm in Abbotsford where he learned the importance of a strong work ethic, of caring for family, the importance of friends and the need to contribute to the community you live in. These four cornerstones of his life led him to own and operate a successful plastering and stucco business in the

Abbotsford area for 45 years, be a loving and caring husband and father, develop a large circle of friends and contribute in whatever way he could to his community. In 2013 The Lions Club award Herb his 60 year pin, recognizing his lifetime of service to the community he had lived in his entire life. Herb was an avid gardener and wood turner who loved to dance, play cards and pool and socialize with his many friends.

He will be missed.

Herb’s funeral will be held Wednesday, February 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Cascade

Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd, Abbotsford, B.C. In lieu of flowers please make
