Jim was born and raised in Vancouver/Burnaby. He is survived by his three children – Michelle (Kaine), Shaun (Elisa) and Sara; beloved Grandchildren – Kai, Keoni, Liam, Hailey and Kaelyn; sister Chris (Ron), Dorothy and numerous family and friends.
Jim was an extremely active volunteer in his community with his work in Kinsman & Community Services in Maple Ridge – also making a huge impact as a Probation Officer where he helped many troubled kids reform. He had an extreme passion for Umpiring Softball and as a Football Referee for over 25 years. Jim’s further passion was history & travelling, with many trips to Europe, Australia and several cruises which he enjoyed with his wife Debbie. Jim also severely loved his children and spending time with grandkids.
His unique sense of humor, wittiness and glowing personality will greatly be missed by all.
