John is survived by his loving wife, Wilma, their three daughters, Dodie (Ron), Lisa (Derek) and Amanda, his six grandchildren; Ester, Austin & Dawson, Aceia, Pella and Zayva. He is also survived by three sisters, seven brothers, and a large extended loving family.
John was a Journeyman Ironworker by trade and also an accomplished sign painter. He recently retired and spent his time with several building projects and gardening.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
