John Albert Gordon (Gordie) McKendrick passed away at The Oxford Senior Care Home in Abbotsford, BC on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the age of 80.

He will be lovingly remembered by wife, Judy; sons, Lorne (Shari) and David (Birgit); stepchildren, Jennifer (Kirby) Ingimarson and Joe (Charish) Ellis; sisters, Betty McKendrick and Judy Wright; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie.

As per his request, his Celebration of Life will be private and for immediate family only. Those wishing to honor his life may make a donation in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
