Kathy was born on May 13, 1950 to Joyce and John McCalmant in Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho where she grew up. She graduated from Bonner’s Ferry High School in 1968. Kathy married her husband of 46 years, William Bancroft and moved to Canada. Kathy was a loving mother of 5 children and to all that needed a gentle wing to perch under. She worked at Langley Memorial Hospital caring for others before her stroke in 2003. She had to relearn everything. Kathy overcame so much with her loyal husband by her side. She was a fighter and defied medical odds.
Kathy is survived by her 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.
