Lena Peters, daughter of Anna and Gerhard Klassen, was born in Gregorivka, Russia, on January 21, 1922 and passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017 in Abbotsford, age 95 years. Lena was predeceased by her husband John Peters who passed away six years ago. She leaves loving memories for her children: Louella (Bill), Alvin (Ingrid), Vera, Eugene (Kelly), Robert (Carol), Evi, and Kristina. There are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will remember “Grandma Peters” fondly.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 27th from 7 to 9 pm at Woodlawn Funeral home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford. Funeral services will be held at the Level Ground Church, 31216 King Rd, Abbotsford on Tuesday, March 28th at 1 pm.
