October 22, 1968 - April 16, 2016
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Les Bowes, age 47 years, on the evening of April 16, 2016 in a motorcycle accident on Rider Lake Road in Chilliwack, BC. Les leaves behind his twin brother Len Bowes, sister Pam Zanatta and brother David Hargreaves. Les is also preceded by his daughters Breana and Brittany Bowes and grandson Elias Bowes. Outside of family, he meant a lot to his friends and colleagues, known for his humour, his edge, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He lived a life full of excitement and adventure and though he will be missed, he will live on in our memories forever.
A memorial service will be held for him on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Fraser River followed by drinks at Dukes Pub in Chilliwack.
