She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Anatol; daughters, Julie (Rolf), Marlis (Jamie), and son, Wally; 2 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren.
Born in a small village in NW Ukraine, Lydia immigrated to Canada in 1950. She had been a resident of Abbotsford since 1959.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware Street, Abbotsford, BC, with Pastor Christoph Reiners officiating. Interment will follow at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery.
