Margaret May Andre

Margaret André, aka Peggy, (born King) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on August 30, 2018. Peggy was born in South Africa on 17th October 1924 and immigrated to Canada 19 years ago. She is survived by her children: Ellis (Ruth); Judy van Rooyen (Vincent); Alan (the late Glynnis) and Rozanne Croft (Peter). She has eight grandchildren: Rozanne (Mark); David (Diana); Karin (Kazek); Johan (Christie); Nicola (Alan); Alistair (Sarah); Shaun (Alice) and Richard. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Peggy André was a gracious lady who showed genuine love and kindness to all who met her. She did everything she possibly could to make the lives of those around her better and richer. She was an example to her family in life, love and prayer. We are grateful to God for such a loving mother and grandmother. “Her children arise and call her blessed” (Prov 31:28).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford, BC. Pastor Ellis André will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Menno Home in Abbotsford.
