Margaret would say she had a long and happy life. She said the love of her life was her husband, Bertrand who passed away in 1993, yet Margaret held him in her heart for all her remaining years. Margaret’s main focus throughout her life was on her family who she loved without reservation.
She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline(Dale), son Mark(Jennifer), granddaughters Krista(Patrick), Deanna(Chris), Jillian(Brandon), Megan(James), Abigail(Andrew) and 12 great grandchildren.
She was so proud of her family and was always interested in all the activities undertaken by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her ‘Grandy’.
Margaret’s request was that the family hold a private celebration to remember her.
Margaret’s family has established the Margaret and Bertrand Cloutier Memorial Fund to honour their lifelong commitment to family, learning, and compassion. The fund will support children and families facing challenges-helping them thrive, just as Margaret always did for her own family.
