The first explicitly biology course I took was in Grade 11, and I still remember walking into that classroom with the walls filled with pictures of organisms of all shapes and sizes and towering plants lining the wall with the windows shining a green, natural glow over everything. Mr. Bradshaw was the instructor of that course, and he was very passionate about the subject, which in turn drew a passion from me that I never knew I had. I remember of talking to Mr. Bradshaw and him telling me how genetics is a relatively new subject with lots of new research and groundbreaking studies emerging. He told me that if I worked very hard I would be able to perhaps do research in this intriguing yet challenging subject. I am now going to the University of British Columbia doing research in a genetics lab. I wish I could've had a conversation with Mr. Bradshaw to let him know how he had inspired me to pursue biology and genetics. He will be remembered and missed by many.

Mark worked very hard to protect union members from false allegations by a.o.'s. I'm sure there are many like myself who owe him our thanks and gratitude. Thanks Mark! S.Davis

Mark Bradshaw was a great teacher,I am sorry he has passed away.

He was one of my favorite teachers even though I only had him for one class in grade 8.
It was a very important day in that class that helped me shape who I am today. There were kids picking on my friend and I. They were doing it quietly so he did not hear them. At the end of class I exploded and it was the first time I stood up for myself and my friend. He heard all of it but he didn't take me to the principal or scold me for saying inappropriate things. He just let me do it. And those girls never bullied us again after that day.

He was a great man and a wonderful teacher. He will be missed by many.

Sorry to hear of Mark's passing. We were good friends back in highschool at DTSS. Take care... Lennie McIlwrick
