She married John Block Aug 14, 1955, in Waldheim, SK in the Zoar Church. In February 1956, the newlyweds embarked on a new adventure to Abbotsford, BC, where they lived until 1995.
She was the mother to four children, Judy, Ross, Kelly, and Stacy. They stayed in Abbotsford until June of 1977 when they embarked on another adventure this one being Meadow Creek, BC. These were busy years. They started to raise cattle, pigs, chickens, and mom provided vegetables from her garden. She helped in the community and served in the church playing piano, Children’s Club and teaching Sunday School.
She returned to Abbotsford with her husband John in 1995. John passed away in 2009. She remained a widow until her death.
She has nine grandchildren 1 predeceased (Mark Redekop) and nine great grandchildren.
