It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother Nanny Oct.13th, 2010 at the age of 99. Mary was born in Roznow, Poland May 6th, 1911 as an only child. She was predeceased by her soul mate and love of her life James Yakabuski and her two sons David (Maureen) and Jim (Carol). Mary leaves behind her daughters Betty (Bob), and Margaret (Henry), 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Nanny touched the lives of many and the family would like to thank the staff at Maplewood House for her last 11 years. She was a woman of dignity and respect, and those who knew her she always remembered. Prayers will be Wednesday, Oct.20, 2010 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, at 7pm. A celebration of Nanny’s life will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 10:30am on Thursday, Oct.21st, 2010.
