Masami Miyagi

Our beloved mother, Masami Miyagi, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, surrounded by family. She leaves behind a legacy of tenderness, quiet strength, and a love that made the world feel softer for everyone who knew her.

She lived with gentle grace, never seeking attention, yet always offering comfort. She remembered the little things, listened with her heart, and had a rare ability to make others feel truly cared for by simply being herself. Her sweetness was ever-present, woven into every small act of kindness, thoughtful gesture, and moments in which she chose love above all else.

To her family and friends, she was a constant source of calm and warmth. She created a sense of home, through her welcoming and comforting presence, that loved without limits. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into them in ways that will continue to shape their lives forever.

Her passing leaves a space that can never be filled, yet her spirit lives on in cherished memories, from the quiet conversations and gentle support, to the shared laughter and the way she made ordinary days feel special. Those who were blessed to know her will carry her kindness forward in the way they speak, care, and love.

Masami is survived by her three loving children: Kae (Hirotoshi), Soho (Chiaki), and Warner, as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be held close in every ray of sunshine, warm breeze, and tender moments that remind us of her enduring love.

私たちの最愛の母、宮城正美は、2025年12月25日、家族に見守られながら穏やかに永眠いたしました。

母は、やさしさと静かな強さを持ち、そばにいるだけで人の心を和ませる存在でした。

母は、目立つことを好まず、いつもさりげなく人を気づかい、相手の話に心を込めて耳を傾ける人でした。小さなことをよく覚えていて、言葉や行いの一つ一つに思いやりがあり、その自然な在り方で、周囲の人に安心感を与えてくれました。

家族や友人にとって、母はいつも変わらぬ温かさと落ち着きを与えてくれる存在であり、私たちが帰る場所であり続けてくれました。

子ども、孫、そして曾孫たちは、母にとって何よりの喜びであり、その成長を心から大切にし、深い愛情をもって見守ってきました。

母がいなくなったことによる寂しさは計り知れませんが、静かな会話や支え、共に笑った時間、何気ない日常を特別なものにしてくれた思い出の中に、母の存在は今も生き続けています。母のやさしさは、これからも私たち一人ひとりの中で受け継がれていくことでしょう。

母は、三人の子どもである加恵（夫・弘敏）、創帆（妻・千秋）、ワーナー、

七人の孫、二人の曾孫に見送られました。

母の愛は、やわらかな陽ざしや心地よい風、ふとした優しい瞬間の中で、これからも私たちを包み続けてくれると思います。

お母さん、ありがとう。心から愛しています。

A funeral service will be held on January 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, located at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC, V2S 1M1, Canada.
