Maurice Arnold Griffin, our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13th at Maplewood House in Abbotsford B.C. Maurice is survived by his children, Gail and Bill (Helen), grandchildren David, Sharon (Andrew) and Angela (Mike), and great-grandchildren Kayla, Griffin, Georgia, and Adam. Maurice was born in Vancouver on January 10, 1920 and grew up in Chilliwack, where he met and married the love of his life, Vera. They were married for 69 wonderful years, until Vera passed away in February, 2010.
Maurice loved the outdoors and had many happy memories of family camping trips and fishing adventures to cherish in his later years. Please join us in honouring Maurice in a celebration of his life on Wednesday, November 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford.
