Dr. Hopper was survived by his son Daryl (Elaine), daughter Judy (Dan) McLean; and grandsons, Matthew (Sandra), and Robert (Kyrstin); great grandson Neil; as well as extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Merle and granddaughter Erin.
The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at George Derby Centre for all their care.
As per Murray’s request a private gathering will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
