
Paul was the youngest of five children. he was born on Mothers Day, when I was ten. I remember taking him to the barber for his first big boy haircut. Mom could not bear to see his curls being cut off. His older brothers nicknamed him Butch which soon became Butchie. When he graduated high school he and a couple of his friends decided to drive out west to see the country like our Dad did as a young man. His wanderlust took him next to east coast then he headed west again. Paul was a gentle kind person who loved his wife and seven kids. He was a religious man whose intention was to serve his Lord the best way he knew how. He will be very much  missed by me and his nieces, my daughters.
  

Our brother Steve hit it right on about the memories we have of our brother Paul. Another memory I will carry with me is how he was determined to stay with us long enough to be the first to call me on my  80th birthday. As uncomfortable as he was he did call and was the first. We had a long chat. I said goodbye, I love you. Three days later our brother was gone. Too soon. We can only hope his dedication to his lord over the years earns him a good spot at the table. Thankyou Paul for all the great times. See you on the other side bro.

Paul was my younger brother and we loved him dearly. His religion and his family were everything to him. He loved nature, hunting and fishing and could (and would,lol) regale you for hours with his experiences. His sense of humour was amazing. His talent for imitating others was second to none. He loved to entertain and we loved being with him. He talked non stop about being close to the Lord and it is our prayer now that he is right there by his side. He will be forever in our memory.
