Pedro Antonio Ramos

Pedro met the love of his life, Dora in 1973 at Insitituto Biblico Betel (Bible College) where he was studying to become a pastor. They married January 8th, 1975, and went on to have two children, Jenny and Ronny. In 1980 the family moved to Costa Rica where Pedro pastored churches until June 30th, 1983, when they moved to Canada to build a new life. From 1983 to 1994 Pedro and Dora pastored various churches throughout the province of Ontario. In 1994, they were led to minister at a new church in Washington state where they diligently served for three years, before returning to the province of British Columbia, Canada.

Pedro continued to pastor in Abbotsford, from 1997 to 2008 after which he put his many skills to use as a full-time handy man until he fully retired a few years later.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, Pedro also loved to get his hands on anything he could build, tinker with or fix and loved a challenging puzzle. Pedro was also known to have a great sense of humor and found immense pride in watching his grandchildren grow. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Pedro joins his sweet Dora, and his mother and father in Heaven. He is survived by his daughter Jenny Goertz (Donavan), son Ronny Ramos (Brooke) and five grandchildren Jaden, Carson, Alana, Leah and Abby-Jill.

There will be a visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC V2S1M1. A graveside service for Pedro will follow the visitation on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery, 33965 Maclure Road, Abbotsford, BC .
