Mrs. Phylis Delma Cassidy

Mrs. Phylis Cassidy late of Abbotsford, BC went to be with Jesus on December 8, 2015 at the age of 85 at Tabor Home in Abbotsford. She had a wonderful Marriage of 57 year to the love of her life, Wilfred Cassidy, who went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2009. Phylis is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her children; Gary, Glen (Cindy), Garth and Abby. Her grandchildren; Jackie, Jordan (Ashley), Angela, Jasmine, Sherry, Christina, Dan, Sarah, Niki, Sam, Connor, Tonii, Tyra, Krystal, Kyla and Kyle; her great-grandchildren; Matthew, Letitia, Jocelyn, Brayden, Logan, Tristen, Liam, Justin, Dylan Brody, Kaleb, Greyson, Ily, Presley and Kane; Phylis is also survived by her twin brother Floyd (Deanna), and brother Bruce (Lois).

Phylis was born in Sovereign, Saskatchewan and married Wilfred the love of her life in 1952 and they lived in Saskatoon, North Battleford, Edmonton before settling in the Abbotsford area in 1988. Phylis loved her family, and always looked forward to family get togethers. She was a gifted poet and writer of short stories and loved to be creative. She knitted, sewed, did many crafts and was a wonderful cook. Phylis will be remembered dearly for her smile, kindness and gentleness, sense of humor, her gift of listening intently to others and her love.
