Robert Michael George Middleton

Sadly Bob passed away November 10, 2024 in Abbotsford BC in his son's family home. He had a battle with a few types of cancer that finally took him from this world, never to be forgotten. A bit of his dash....

Bob was born December 21, 1948 in St John, New Brunswick. He spent 10 years 1965-1975 as a member of the military in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a mechanic, which was his true passion.

In those years he married and had 3 children, eventually moving his family to Chilliwack BC in 1978 where he continued working as well known heavy duty farm mechanic in the Fraser Valley, a lot knew him as Baler Bob.

Bob in 1991 married the second passion of his life, Judy. Bob was devastated with her passing in late 2004 and eventually moved to Lac La Hache building his dream home starting in 2007 overlooking the lake.. He made lifelong friends in this new chapter of his life and never left the Cariboo.

Bob was predeceased by his Mother Nora, Father George, Uncle Russell, Sister Angela, Wife Judy, Daughter Darlene and Nephews Patrick and Stephen.

Bob will be loved and missed always by his Children, Joe (Michelle) and Tammy. Grandchildren, Susan, Sydney, Jarrod, Curtis, Jenna and Nicholas. Great-grandsons, Thomas and Dalton Sister, Kathleen and Nephews, Alexis, Troy, Darrin and Danny. So many amazing friends will forever miss you!!!

We will have in the future a couple of celebrations to laugh and memorize Bob in the spring, both in Chilliwack and Lac La Hache
