Ronald was the oldest of 3 children, one sister Gweneth and brother Kenneth. He married the love of his life Gwendolyn on September 24 1949. They had 5 children, Carol (Frank), Wendy (Wayne), Larry (Corrine), Kim (Bruce), Greg (Cathy). As the family grew he became the grandfather of 14, then great grandfather of 23 and the great great grandfather of 6.
Ron worked for many years as a salesman then district manager for Robinson Little before moving to Abbotsford in 1970, partnering then buying Peacock Furniture on Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford, BC. After an early retirement he enjoyed his family and his Salvation Army church family in the summer and was able to spend winters in Arizona then Mexico until after his 90th birthday. He loved to play shuffleboard, paint and especially dance.
He was a wonderful man and his passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him
