Ronald George Ridler

Ron was born in Winnipeg growing up on Talbot Avenue in Elmwood, He was an athletic man who enjoyed hockey, lacrosse when he was young, walking and golf as he got older. He was an avid bridge player and won a gold medal in the B.C. Senior games for bridge. Ron and Bev were business owners in Abbotsford for over twenty years. He was a happy social man and will be sorely missed by all his friends and family.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Bev Ridler. His daughters Rhonda, Kimberly and Dawn. Five grandchildren Crystal, Robbin, Amber, Samantha, Oona and eight great grandchildren Deklyn, Jonas, Gus, Holden, Sadie, Brock, Grace and Griffin. Sister Lorraine, sister in law Doreen and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Walter and Lilian, siblings Walter, Art, Doris, Raymond, Gerry, mother in law Beatrice, brothers in law Gary and Howard.

Special mention to Bev's brothers Norman, Andy, very special sister/caregiver Valda, Diane and their families.

The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Chilliwack Hospital and Bradley Care Home.
