It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shayna Davison of Abbotsford, BC, who left us on February 5th, 2025, at the age of 52, at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Shayna was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Shayna is survived by her cherished daughter, Mandy Davison, and her two precious grandchildren, Emma Kovaltsenko and Jude Croucher. She is also lovingly remembered by her three sisters: Katrina (Terry) Postma, Beth (Tim) Davison, and Rosemary Davison, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family who were dear to her heart. Shayna was predeceased by her mother, Doreen Davison, and her sister, April Marie Campbell.
Shayna dedicated time to volunteering at Centennial Place Communitas, where her kindness and warmth were felt by all she encountered. She had a special love for the color purple. Her greatest joy in life came from her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed diamond painting and caring for her beloved cats.
Shayna was a woman of remarkable strength, boldness, and independence. She faced many challenges with determination and an unwavering spirit, always pushing forward with a twinkle in her eye and a sharp, playful sense of humor. Her ability to light up a room with a saucy joke or a kind word made her a joy to be around. She approached every task with a smile, including her volunteer work, where she made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Shayna will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. We take comfort in knowing that her love, laughter, and warmth will never be forgotten.
