Walter Peter Regier was born in Matsqui on January 29, 1946. After battling Parkinson’s disease for the past five years, Walter passed away in the Abbotsford hospital on Monday, September 18, 2017. Although Walter’s passing was unexpected and happened quickly, he was with his wife, daughter and much of his family and friends when he passed. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, his daughter Karla (Tom), his stepson David (Tara) and his grandchildren, Shenandoah, Kathryn, Matthew, Katie-Mae, and Charlie as well as many brothers, sisters and family members. Walter will be remembered for his kind calm spirit and for his love for the Lord. Walter will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life for Walter will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00am at South Abbotsford MB Church, 32424 Huntington Road, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson Society.
