Bill was born in Sandwich, Kent, England on June 6th, 1939.
Bill joined the Royal Air Force in 1955 as a Training Airframe Mechanic and was with them until June 1969.
He met Edna Bottle, (the love of his life), in Sept 1957 and they were married in Sept 1959.
Bill was involved and loved his time with the Mason’s. He became a member in England, 1978 and joined the lodges wherever he happened to be living.
His love of aircraft started when he was young, continued through the RAF and after leaving the military, he worked as an aircraft engineer for a small flying company in Kent.
The family moved to Canada in 1981, then moved back to England four years later and then onto France for a year. They returned to Canada in 1987, and Bill worked with Bombardier until he retired in 2001.
Bill lived his life to the fullest. He and Edna traveled all over Canada and the states. One of his friends once told me “Bill and I were friends in our early 20’s. The only difference now is, he didn’t get old”.
Bill is pre-deceased by his wife Edna, his wife of 63 years. She passed in May 2023.
Bill is survived by their daughter Lynn and her husband Lyndon. He also leaves behind her grandson Matthew (Aysha) and grandson Nathan.
