A private family graveside service will be held on January 27, 2021 at Elmwood Memorial Park.
“Bea” was born on July 5, 1925 in Nashville, Ark. She married the late Billy Dale Copeland on January 9, 1943. Together they moved and established family roots in Abilene in 1956. Bea loved her family and friends. She always welcomed friends and family into her home. There was always plenty of good food to be enjoyed. Mom always had the hardest job. Yet, she made it look so easy.
Bea is survived by her loving daughters, Vivian Wimberly and Dalene Bowles; son-in-law, James Wimberly; and a dear friend Bruce Newmen; proud grandmother of Rollie Sheppard and his wife, Valerie, Kenny Sheppard and wife, Carey, Jerri Anne Bowles; great-grandchildren, Hayden Sheppard, Kenzie Sheppard, and Riley Sheppard; and numerous other relatives, and friends. Her grandson Jason Bowles precedes her in death.
