Bonnie was born May 27, 1929 to Arthur Windham and Thelma Lofton Windham in Anson, Texas. She married Wayman Cooper. Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. Our mother will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her and her sweet and gentle spirit. She was a woman of selfless generosity, humility, and resourcefulness. Our mother lived her faith in God in her everyday priorities --- with kindness, encouragement, optimism, and thankfulness. Her legacy is an example that has touched and changed the lives of so many and we pray will live on through her family and through those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayman Cooper; and her son, Danny Cooper.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Cooper of Abilene, Elaine Bryant and husband Travis of Amarillo, Texas, and Kim Nix and husband Tim of Seymour, Texas; her sister, Tommie Luna and husband Bud of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Nix, Phillip Nix and wife Keri, Bryan Nix and wife Alyssa, Tony Wiethoff and wife Bobbi, Brent Wiethoff and wife Sally, Logan Bryant, and Shelby Bryant; and great-grandchildren, Cooper and Sadie Wiethoff, Lexi, Max, and Nic Wiethoff, and Daniel Nix.
