Bonnie Leal

Bonnie was born on December 28, 1979, in Prescott, Arizona. She was the oldest child of Teodula Morales and Cindy June Dudley. She grew up in Antelope Valley, California in a close-knit family. She graduated from Palmdale High School and went on to earn her associate’s degree. Bonnie embraced family life by having her one and only child Marisol. She eventually moved to Texas around 2008. Bonnie was a hard worker and disciplined and soon established herself in her career. She was currently working as a compliance analysis. Bonnie loved the holidays, especially at Christmas. She was naturally creative as could be seen through her artwork and her touch for decorating. She loved helping others and enjoyed volunteering to feed the homeless at Thanksgiving.

Bonnie loved nature and the great outdoors. She enjoyed camping and making memories. She was an animal lover and had a special place in her heart for bunny’s. She relished life’s simple pleasures watching a good show, movie or just sightseeing with her daughter. Her passing brings to a close a life well lived. She was sweet, thoughtful, fun and often a stable person who could be counted on for advice. She was quiet and often to herself but once she knew you, she could be counted on as a loyal family member and friend.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bonnie Hensley and Andrew Dudley.

She is survived by her daughter, Marisol Leal; her dear parents, Cindy and John Winiecki; her siblings, Daniel Morales, Marlaina (Michael) Quinn, Maria Olmedo and Shari Olmedo. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Committal Service will be held at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, TX 79606, US, on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 am.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Potosi Community Center, 3208 Potosi Rd., Abilene, TX 79602, on August 28, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
