Carole was born in Gorman, Texas to Howard and Cremora Cox on April 21st, 1943. She attended school in Cross Plains where she was in the band. She worked in the medical field most of her life. She was a member of the Abilene Opera Association. Cooking was her greatest hobby. Mother loved to try new recipes although she always added her own ingredients. She will be remembered most for her sense of humor. Her quick wit was shared with everyone she met.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Jane Whalen and her son-in-law, Jamie Whalen; one grandson, Reid Reagan and his wife Tia; one great grandson, Cru Kool and one great granddaughter, Ricki Reagan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home on Monday, March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Mike Horton will officiate.
