Carrol Douglas Bradley

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, Abilene, with Reverend Louis Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Carrol was born February 27, 1948 to Atza (Rister) and J.D. Bradley in Abilene, Texas. He was employed as a computer programmer. Carrol was a very loving uncle; a Baptist; and loved his God.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two brothers, Leroy (Sue) Bradley of New Braunfels, Texas and Johnny (Connie) Bradley of Houston, Texas; nephews, Bryan, Jeffery, and Jeremy Bradley; niece, Jennifer Nichols; seven great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Brooke, Bella, and Keaton Bradley, and McKaylee and Kenzie Nichols; stepmother, Birdie Bradley.

We wish to express a very special thanks for the love and care given to Carrol by his cousin, Debbie Westbrook. Also, we appreciate Kerry Hart as a caregiver for Carrol.
