He was preceded in death by his father Coney Faucett; his grandparents Roy & Dottie Faucett and JD & Corene Cochnauer as well as his uncles Bob Bruce & Clark Turner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Marian Faucett of Hawley; brother Shane Faucett & wife Staci of Roby; sister Dawnett Faucett of Galveston; beloved nieces & nephews Shawna, Brady & Brennan Faucett, Crystal Zamisz, Diane Portillo, & Jennifer Zamisz,; cherished aunts & uncles George & wife Lori of Leander; Ima Bruce of Mineral Wells; Irma Clouse & husband Tim of Ovalo and James Cochnauer & wife Vickie of Moore Oklahoma; girlfriend Amber Studhalter and her daughter that Carter loved as his own Brindlelyn which he lovingly called Babygirl; as well as 2 great nieces, numerous cousins, and a whole host of friends.
Carter was a Deacon and loved his church family at Salt Branch Cowboy Church in Merkel Texas.
Carter loved serving people and chose a career doing just that. He spent his life in customer service. He worked many years at HEB, and Save Alot which had switched over to United in the last few years. He loved working in the grocery business where he was able to do what he was best at: smiling, helping people, and spreading the love of Jesus. Carter created many fond memories for his co-workers & customers. In his spare time he worked for his good friend at his business J. Shae Jewlers.
He was generous with his time and love.
When Carter wasn't working he spent most of his time finding people who needed help or cheering up.
If you were fortunate enough to know Carter you learned pretty quick he loved people and was not afraid to have fun. His goal in life was to make people laugh.
Carter never met an acquaintance, once he introduced himself he knew you for life.
Carter taught us that your wealth or status doesn't determine who you are, but its your kindness and character that really matter.
Memorial contributions can be made in Carter's name to Meals on Wheels, a cause important to him. To leave condolences to the Faucett family please visit www.elliotthamilfuneralhomes.com.
