Chester Brint Jernigan, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away April 10, 2015 at the age of 64. Chester was born September 17, 1950 and was a lifelong resident of the Abilene area. He lived in Goldsboro where he was a rancher and dedicated family man. Chester is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue Jernigan; three children, Robert, Carmen and Chad; two brothers, Johnny and Buster; ten grandchildren (and one on the way) and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 14th at the Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Faith with burial following in the Dewey Cemetery.
