Colton David O'Hern

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Sims officiating. His remains will be laid to rest at a later date with his father's.

Colton David was born on April 15, 2004, in Abilene, Texas to Christopher and Kameron O’Hern. Colton shared a close bond with his sisters Kassidy and Katelynn. He was especially close to his grandpa whom he called, “Boss”. Colton was a talker; he never met a stranger anywhere he went. He was a very caring young man who loved to give out hugs.

From a young age Colton enjoyed hunting and fishing. Colton has been a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church. He had a strong relationship with the Lord, that only grew as he got older. From a young age his grandparents instilled a solid work ethic in him that followed into adulthood. He was currently employed with Allstar Plumbing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chris; grandparents, Vera, Vernon and Clarence; aunts, Tammy Corsello and Kori Gentry; uncle, James Shepard.

He is survived by his grandparents, David “Pops” and Liz “Nan” O’Hern; two sisters, Kassidy and her husband Eric Hererra and Katelynn O’Hern; niece, Emery Vincent and one on the way, Skyler Fowler; nephews, Hudson Hererra and Waylon Crowdy; aunts, Krystal and Kristan and her husband Garland and Kari Embry, uncle Stefan Gentry; numerous cousins.
