
David was born on March 5, 1953 in Kermit, Texas to the late Jack Watkins Linebery and Eva Jewel (Mayfield) Linebery. He was raised in Kermit where he graduated from High School in 1971. His family were members of the First Baptist Church in Kermit. He furthered his education at Odessa Jr. College where he majored in Business. He began a 32-year career with what was then known as Southwestern Bell. He trained and worked his way up to management relocating several times throughout the state. David had a green thumb and was a plant enthusiast he nurtured a large collection of plants. He was a collector of many special pieces from art to clocks. David had a natural business acumen and was very meticulous. You could always count on him to get things done. His outgoing and outspoken personality will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernest Tate and his wife Sandy and his brother-in-law, Freddie White.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie White; his nephews, Kyle and Lyle White; cousins, Mary Grace Mayfield and Vina Lou McClain; close family friends, Ernest and Becky Thomas; numerous other relatives.
