Marjean Mitchell (Flowers), age 58, passed away March 5, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Marjean was born March 15, 1956 in Abilene to Joe Don and Margaret West Mitchell. She grew up in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School in 1974. She later moved to San Antonio where she had been living for the past 24 years and owned a salon with her husband. Marjean was preceded in death by her father, Joe Don Mitchell. Survivors include her mother, Margaret Mitchell of Abilene; son, Rashad Bennett of Abilene; sister, Vickie Foster and husband Gary of Lawton, OK; brothers, Stuart Mitchell and wife Molly of Lewisville, TX and Steven Mitchell of Abilene; grandchildren, Alaysha and Fredrick Bennett of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.
