Dorothy Chick

Dorothy Chick, 77, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Abilene. Memorial services will be held at 2:00p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Church of the Heavenly Rest, Episcopal, 602 Meander St., Abilene. Arrangements were handled by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.

Dorothy was born on November 14, 1936 in England. She was a member of the Church of the Heavenly Rest and dedicated a lot of her time volunteering at the church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Woody Chick.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Chick and wife, Sherron of Greenville, TX, and Darran Chick of Waynesburg, PA; grandchildren, Joshua Chick and wife, Stephanie of Ft. Worth, Jennifer Chick of Austin, Alyssa and Stephenie Chick, both of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Charles and Arthur Chick of Ft. Worth, and Coraline Chick of Austin.
