Earl Wayne Kessinger, 64, went Home to be with part of his family on Friday, February 8, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St., Abilene, with Earl’s nephew, Jeff Dixon leading the celebration of his life. There will be a private burial following the service under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home.
Earl was born September 25, 1948 in San Angelo, TX to John and Eva Kessinger. He enjoyed truck driving, cabinet working, and fishing. He enlisted in the Army in 1966 and spent over 1 ½ years in Viet Nam.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, Frank in 2004.
Survivors include his daughter, April Renae; son, Jacob; a brother, Robert; a sister, Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.
