Edward Leo Hamilton passed peacefully in Abilene, TX on July 6, 2026. He was born February 5, 1941 in Levelland, Texas to William Edward Hamilton and Leo Della Kennedy. He lived in Levelland until 1950 when the family moved to Lubbock, Texas where they lived until the Spring of 1954. The family then moved to Pecos, Texas where Edward spent the majority of his life. His wife, Michelle Hamilton and his first wife Sara Linda Mattox and a younger brother William Ted Hamilton preceded his death. He is survived by two daughters Kimberly Kay and Terri Gay Hamilton of Odessa Texas, a sister, Lilly Jo Hamilton Hughes of Midland Texas, Donny Leon Hamilton of Bryan, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews scattered across Texas. He was also loved by his special angels, Vicky Carr, Krystal Romero, Johnna Mayes, and Kevin and Connie McSherry.
