He then moved to Spokane, WA where he continued working fast food. After deciding to move to Abilene he started working for Taco Bueno where he worked for 22 1/2 years. He was a very devoted employee which allowed for his advancement from line to manager.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Turner; great nephew, Tristan Whitlock; father and stepmother, Robert and Catherine Risley; and half-sister, Robin House. Survivors include his stepfather, Denny Turner; three sisters, Deborah A. Werner and husband, Richard, Cynthia A. Carter and husband, Kenneth, Pamela K. Whitlock and husband, Herbert; a brother, Robert W. Risley and wife, Barbara; half-sister, Kimberlee Arrotta and husband, Randy; half-brother, Donald Risley; seventeen nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Ed loved and was loved by the many friends he made over the years. Even though the immediate family was spread across the United States and beyond, he treasured the time he could spend with them, but especially his nieces and nephews.
