Emmanuel Chevy Rodriguez of Abilene passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 in Abilene. He was born on January 4, 2025 in Abilene to Nayelli Rodriguez and Niko Rodriguez. From the moment Chevy came into their lives, he brought joy, a serenity that filled every corner of their hearts. Though his time with them was short, it was rich with meaning and filled with the kind of love that transcends time.
He is survived by his parents, Nayelli Rodriguez and Niko Rodriguez; grandparents, Claudia Lopez and Omar and Dana Rodriguez; aunts and uncles, Gabriella Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Beatrice Rodriguez, Mike Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Leilone Rethmeier and Ryan Rodriguez. Chevy had many loving great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Eric Tonche.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 US Hwy 277 South in Abilene. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 28, 2025 at FountainGate Fellowship Church in Abilene with Daniel Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.
