

Evelyn Bond Randolph died Sunday, May 12, 2013 in a local care center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, in the I.O.O.F. section of the Abilene City Cemetery with Joseph Plagge officiating, directed by Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St., Abilene. Visitation will be 9 to 11 am Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born March 12, 1922 in Marietta, Texas to Henry and Ola Bond, Evelyn was a very loving mother, wife and friend to all. She had a beautiful smile and a big heart. She always cared for others and was willing to help them. She was a nurse for over 30 years and was loving and caring to her patients.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Vernon Randolph; two sisters, Lucille and Josephine Bond; and her brother, Marlin Bond.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Randolph, and two sons, Daniel Lee Randolph and Jerry Don Randolph, all of Abilene; two daughters, Donna Webb and husband, Kenneth of Lubbock, and Gloria James and husband, Robert of Abilene; two sisters, Louella Adcock of Atlanta, Texas and Frances Rains of Cisco, Texas; ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
