Frances Ellen Larkin Crutchfield

Frances Ellen Larkin Crutchfield, 85, of Abilene passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at a local nursing home. A visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. on Thursday, February 8, 2018. A graveside service will follow at 2pm in Pioneer Cemetery. Frances was born April 9, 1932 to Burr and Flora Larkin in Eastland, Texas. She was a Grandmother to all of the neighborhood children. She touched many lives and was loved by all. Frances also loved volunteering at the senior center. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Henry Crutchfield. Survivors include daughter, Betty Irvin; grandchildren, Belinda Morris, Kathy Schneider and husband Kyle, and Henry Grant; great grandchildren, Jason Schneider, Tiffany Sudberry, Brad Schneider, and Brettany Morris; great-great grandchildren Gaven Blyth and Hayden Blythe. I am so sorry for your loss. We never met, but I know of your family through my dad, Edgar Williams, who worked at Abilene Brick Company with Tom & Henry. I have bricks that the 3 of them signed when the plant shut down in 1980. If there were an attach button here I would include a photo of them.
