Burial services were held at 11:15 a.m. March 29, 2013 in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas, with military honors including taps, honor guard, and flag presentation.
George loved fishing, horseback riding, golfing, and gardening. He was proud of having served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by her parents Paula and George Hernandez; and brother Raymond Hernandez.
George is survived by his sister Rose Kennedy and her husband Robert and sister Lorraine Lambert; brother Ralph Hernandez and his wife Sylvia; sister-in-law Carol Hernandez (Raymond’s wife); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
