Jerry was born on February 18, 1938 in Tomahawk, WI to Herman and Adeline (Klade) Friske. He lived in Abilene since 1979 and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Jerry was in the concrete business most of his life and moved his family to Texas to enjoy the warmer weather.
He is survived by his special friend, Glenda Wilcox of Abilene; one son, Stephen Friske and wife, Shannon, of Arlington; two daughters, Karen Aikin and husband, C.H., of Roundrock and Sandra Hazelbaker and husband, Michael, of Murphy, TX; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Patricia Nicolini and Mary Osuch of Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his wife of forty-eight years, Rosemary Friske; his parents; brothers; Jack, Buddy, Jim, Robert, Don and sisters Pauline and Alice.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
